Creating works of art that tease the senses.
Evolving art into more than the visual space
A Creative Entrepreneur with bold ideas
Adam is a corn-fed, Midwestern visual designer turned creative entrepreneur currently based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Adam’s art career began as a resident artist in two galleries and exhibited at two others at the age of 16 producing almost 400 individual pieces of artwork in several different mediums ranging from graphite, charcoal, oil and acrylic, and even sculptures for a wide range of clients.
Today, Adam has left his 23 year career as a visual designer behind in rebellion to pursue a different path of being an independent creative entrepreneur.
As an artist, Adam is drastically evolving from his most recent collection of highly textured artwork to a more interactive and functional form of gallery work by expanding beyond our relationship with art and our senses.
Adam has also been an underground musician that has avoided the mainstream by performing stage acts on very rare occasions and recording singles every few years. With the inclusion on his artwork, music will be an influence as part of his future collections.
Artist Statement
Embrace the Sensory Experience. Beyond mere paintings, these compositions are immersive installations that invite touch as a central element. Crafted with a variety of materials on high-quality canvases—including plasters, soft body acrylics, acrylic sprays, and more—they offer a tactile journey, providing both visual and tactile definition.
Celebrate Diverse Love. This collection explores the intricate and delicate nature of love, emphasizing its uniqueness, fragility, and complexity. It serves as a reflection of affection, standing out on the surface or leaving a lasting impression. Love’s beauty lies in its constant evolution, with each hug, kiss, or gesture being a distinct and irreplaceable expression. Love, however, is not without its challenges.
Individuality is Key. Each composition is a result of meticulous thought and preparation. Functioning like pieces of a puzzle, the series can harmonize with one another, offering collectors various options for curating a space. From meticulous surface preparation to the application of textured plaster bases tailored to each series, the process involves the creation of tens to hundreds of plaster cast molds, ensuring a unique and captivating outcome for each composition.
