I’m Back

first, i want to apologize for losing my shit

I had been dealing with a lot on my plate. I had to juggle so many different things all at once and eventually burned myself out to the point that I didn’t want to do anything anymore. It ultimately led me to quitting everything outright and liquidating what artwork I had available at a very deep discount.

A turning point presented itself when I became unexpectedly unemployed. I wasn’t pissed about it either. Maybe a little upset and maybe a little disappointed. I certainly wasn’t bothered by the outcome. It took me about a week to work myself back up to try and get back to planning out something new.

To all of my followers and fans of my artwork, I sincerely apologize for going off the deep end and losing myself completely.

Second, New Things Are Coming Your Way

I will officially be Adam Wise this October when I marry my soul mate. Being the unconventional and rebellious individual that I am, I decided to take on my fiance’s name and dropping the one that I have bad blood with. Any who, you will be seeing this transition soon—if not already—across social media and my website, and certainly not limited to just that.

My wife-to-be has also stepped up to the plate to become my artist representative to help with scheduling events, assisting in my social media and promotional campaigns, and help with some of my day-to-day.

Third, It’s a Whole New Vision

I have a new collection that I am currently doing studies on that I’m sure that many might be excited about. With the inspiration and support of my wife-to-be, I have been working on an idea for a new collection called “XOXO”. I will start off with 25 brand new pieces of canvas artwork in a considerably different style and technique by adding the same grit and adding in some glam. That is just going to be the start.

NOTE: What I have already included on the website is not an actual representation of the work. That will be updated when I get some artwork completed.

I will also be building, assembling, and hand painting a limited edition line of 13 guitars (in addition to a few that will be gifted) that will match the collection. These will be a working and functioning piece of my artwork. These will become available around the same time as the canvas artwork.

After all is said and done, there will be some promotional products that will be available for everyone. A complete line will also be available when the XOXO collection is released. Follow me on Instagram if you don’t already do so as all updates will be posted there.

So over the last few months it has been strange weather and the water has been tainted by the high expectations of living in a mundane capitalist world that drove me to the edge. I was burned to the ground, but I am rising once again by doing what I love most. Creating art for those that love art.
