WEBSITE DUMP
I made a lot of changes site wide to help optimize it, and to make it pretty. I also trashed a bunch of artwork from the shop because there are going to be some changes along the way.
THE SHOP
I dropped all of my oil artwork from the TELE Collection out of the shop and boxed them all up for cold storage. I may still use them for shows and exhibits, but you can still view the work on Instagram and message about purchasing the artwork. The reason? Well, I have changed my overall medium for all of my artwork going forward. This isn’t the end for the TELE Collection though (More info below).
I did quite a few changes with the XOXO Collection too. I dropped a few paintings out of the shop, but added XOXO:ILVU Gallery as a made-to-order product available in different sizes, but also set it up for future work that will be added as they are completed.
The XOXO Collection
XOXO:PIXL
These little love notes are getting a change for the better, with some plans for some accessories that will make it worthwhile. XOXO:PIXL will now be done in a gallery wrapped 1-1/2” profile that will allow these paintings to stand up on their own without a stand. Future plans will include a display that will allow the collector to curate and rearrange them without damage to the artwork, and a line of PRSD versions are currently on the way to be added to the shop in a few short weeks.
XOXO:MINI
I will be expanding the line of these over the course of the next few months so that the ILVU and PRSD versions will all be available making this a total of six different versions. Future plans are to offer a display just like I will be offering for XOXO:PIXL.
XOXO:PRSD
Work is happening for this line of artwork with Series 2 and Series 3. These will be done sometime after I have completed XOXO:PIXL ILVU & PRSD, and XOXO:MINI ILVU & PRSD.
Colorways
I have added a new colorway variant to the bunch (sans XOXO:ILVU Gallery). The new color is what I will call “Aurora” which is a hue of Aquamarine to “zhuzh up” the available colors. More colors may be added in the future.
The Future of XOXO
I wasn’t sure if I had it in me to continue working on this collection, however, I still have some plans to keep expanding on this collection that will get a little more technical in the compositions. Keep watching for more updates on some new projects that will be released next year. Hints are already in place site-wide.
The TELE Collection
A Change in Materials
Going forward, the TELE Collection is going through a change in materials to keep up with consistency across all of my artwork. I will continue to use plaster and acrylic to continue on. What this means is that everything from Series A1, A2, and P1 has been dumped and shoved into storage. The lucky few that have already purchased work from these lines have obtained some pretty special pieces.
TELE:CHNL 0
While I might be busy with the XOXO Collection, I will be working on this collection soon. CHNL 0 will not be made-to-order, but they will be meant for gallery showings and exhibitions. There is a lot of work that will be put into these works and so I will be giving it everything I have to create. I just might have to trash a few in the process.
2024 Events
I’ll be taking part in several events in 2024 and I will post them on social media and here. Last year was way too busy after moving cross country, a wedding, and working a few side projects. This upcoming year is going to have a full schedule, and so far I have up till the middle of June planned out (not all posted).
The Take Aways
It might take a little longer to get my shop back up to snuff. Even though I am poor as hell and the holidays are coming up, I still have the drive to produce things that allow choice. So I’ll keep sharing the love. Just keep watching for more work coming out, shows, and updates over the next few months.
